I am a researcher working in the 3D vision group. I am particularly interested in the matching problem, i.e. how to identify images of the same object or scene and how to establish correspondences between them, with a special attention to computational aspects (efficiency). Other research topics I'm interested in include image and video segmentation, classification, fast object detection and large scale search of images and videos.
I obtained an Engineer's degree from the National Institute of Applied Science (INSA), Lyon, France in 2007. From 2007 to 2011 I did a PhD at INSA of Lyon in collaboration with the University of Kobe, Japan. I then joined as a postdoc the LEAR team (now renamed as THOTH) with Cordelia Schmid at INRIA, Grenoble, France, until 2015. Information about my postdoc may be found here . After that I was hired a research engineer in the Computer Vision (CV) team at Naver Labs Europe.
