The AI Summer School is organized by Inria and the institutes MIAI and PRAIRIE. It will include presentations on several topics, including, computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, healthcare.
This is the 3rd edition of the PAISS summer school. The first one was in 2018, co-organised by Inria and NAVER LABS Europe and held in Grenoble. The second version was held in Paris, in October 2019, and organized by Inria and the institutes PRAIRIE and MIAI.
NAVER LABS is a founding member of two of France’s four 3IA institutes (artificial intelligence interdisciplinary institutes) launched by the French government in 2018 as part of the national strategy for AI: MIAI in Grenoble and PRAIRIE, based in Paris.
Lourdes Agapito is a Professor of 3D Vision in the Department of Computer Science at University College London (UCL).
Danielle Belgrave is a principle researcher in the Healthcare Intelligence group at Microsoft Research, in Cambridge, UK.
Andrew Davison is a professor of robot vision at Imperial College London, where he also leads the Dyson Robotics Laboratory.
Arthur Gretton is a professor with the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, and director of the Centre for Computational Statistics and Machine Learning at UCL.
Barbara Plank is an associate professor in the computer science department at IT University of Copenhagen.
Andrew Zisserman leads the Visual Geometry Group at the University of Oxford, and is also affiliated with DeepMind.
Francis Bach is a researcher at Inria, where he heads the SIERRA research team, and an adjunct professor at École Normale Supérieure.
Alejandrina Cristià is a CNRS research director in the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique at ENS.
Pascale Fung is a professor at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, and director of HKUST Center for AI Research.
