ALPS 2025 – the 5th Advanced Language Processing School, co-organized by LIG (University Grenoble Alpes), NAVER LABS Europe (Laurent Besacier, Vassilina Nikoulina and Nadia Chirkova) and Cohere.labs.
ALPS is a week-long series of lectures by world-class NLP researchers, sessions where participants present their work, social activities and labs. The school takes place on site with no streaming or virtual connection.
Speakers: Dzmitry Bahdanau (ServiceNow Research), Alexandra Birch (University of Edinburgh), Kyunghyun Cho (New York University & Prescient Design), Marzieh Fadaee (Cohere For AI), Benoît Favre (Aix-Marseille University, LIS, CNRS, LIG), Dirk Hovy (Bocconi University) and François Yvon (CNRS, ISIR).
The winter school targets primarily students at master level (research oriented) or PhD level. Some places are reserved for academics and researchers from industry. ALPS aims to provide talks of renowned NLP researchers, as well as creating an ideal environment to foster collaborations
