We claim that negotiation is a powerful abstract notion for the coordination of generic services available from distributed autonomous components. This is the main motivation underlying the development of our prototype , Xplore, a middleware infrastructure for component service negotiation. We illustrate the adaptability of Xplore, by decomposing an existing e-negotiation application into a set of autonomous components that collaboratively build a generic negotiation graph, using the primitives of the Xplore protocol and its coordination engine. We choosed NegotiAuction because it combines various elements from negotiation and auction protocols, which demand for a diversified representation in XPlore.
