I am a research scientist in the Computer Vision group at Naver Labs Europe. My research interests lie in the fields of computer vision and machine learning, currently with a focus on learning representations for image retrieval, both in a supervised and self-supervised way, object detection, and semantic segmentation. For a full list of my publications please visit my Google Scholar profile, and to know more about some of my open-sourced projects please visit my GitHub page.
I grew up and lived in Spain, where I completed my studies, with short stays in Netherlands and Japan. I received my Ph.D. from the Computer Vision Center in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain, supervised by Ernest Valveny. I joined the center in 2014 as a postdoc in the Computer Vision group, and in 2015 as a research scientist. In 2019, I moved to London, UK and joined V7 Labs until 2021 when I re-joined Naver Labs Europe.
