    Over the years, NAVER LABS Europe has been developing a Document Layout Analysis toolkit, which is used in a number of different domains, projects and publications.
    The objective of this internship is to assess recent Computer Vision methods for Document Analysis tasks  against new and challenging  large datasets.
    This internship will especially focus on understanding of complex layouts such as tabular text or newspapers.
    The intern, in collaboration with other team members, will select and adapt training data from relevant datasets. Based on open-source libraries (such as [1]), she will then implement and evaluate several alternatives, including the ones she proposes.

    Required skills

    We expect Master students with good knowledge in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, and programming skills in python using state-of-the-art machine learning frameworks.
    At NAVER LABS Europe publications are strongly encouraged.
