    We are currently inviting applications from scientists who are excited about contributing to the invention, development and benchmarking of products at the cross-roads of deep learning and robotic technologies such as Navigation, Semantic Grasping and, more generally, Autonomous Control. S/he will also contribute to the deployment of these technologies in a number of future NAVER flagship products and services. In this context, researchers interested in Self-supervision applied to robotics, Imitation Learning for robotic control and Model-based reinforcement learning are strongly invited to apply. The candidate will be invited to establish collaboration with our Robotic Lab in Korea  NAVER’s line of robots for navigation and manipulation are developed.


    NAVER LABS Europe conducts fundamental and applied research in Machine Learning and Robotics. We encourage active participation in the academic community and our researchers regularly collaborate with world-class public research groups. We also regularly publish in major scientific venues and release datasets for public use.

    Required skills

    - Ph.D. degree in Machine Learning, Robotics or a related discipline.
    - Excellent publication track record in venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ICRA, IROS and associated journals.
    - Strong development skills, preferably in C/C++ and/or python.
    - Highly motivated and team player
