Description

NAVER LABS Europe conducts fundamental and applied research in autonomous vehicles, AI, 3D mapping, AR and robotics. We encourage active participation in the academic community and our researchers regularly collaborate with world-class public research groups. We also regularly publish in venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI and IJCV and release datasets for public use, such as our Proxy Virtual Worlds dataset.

We are currently inviting applications from candidates who are excited about contributing to the invention, development and benchmarking of computer vision technologies that can be efficiently embedded in devices such as mobile phones, dashcams, robots and autonomous vehicles to allow for real-time inference. S/he will also contribute to the deployment of these technologies in a number of NAVER flagship products and services.

Required skills

- MSc or PhD degree in computer science.
- Strong development skills, preferably in C/C++ and/or python.

Preferred skills

- Demonstrated success with projects relevant to deploying deep models on low-power and low-memory devices (e.g. deep model compression, GPU kernel optimization).
- Previous research experience in lightweight models and neural architecture search for embedded vision.
- Publications in top conferences/journals.
